No Longer Carrying the Burden of Hunger

At the first distribution, the families weren’t quite sure what they had signed up for and it was beautiful to watch their faces light up as they heard more about Family Hope International. During this last distribution, they arrived a little lighter, smiles were brighter as they no longer carry the burden of not knowing where their next meal will come from. 

A challenge of doing ministry in Malawi is the instability of the economy and the exchange rates. We are atill working through the kinks of starting a new project with a new organization. Our team did such an amazing job organizing the distribution despite some challenges. They were resourceful and had to put extra work into this distribution to make sure families got the same amount of maize meal, which required them purchasing 6,600lbs of maize and then transporting it to the maize mill, and then separating it in to 55lb bags for each family. 

Our team continues to radiate joy knowing they have secure jobs, and are able to impact communities around them. Thank you to all who have sponsored families!
