There have been many special moments on this trip, such as simply being able to spend time with family; which is normal for many families, but quite uncommon in my global family! The last time my brother and I were together was 5 years ago, and before that it was probably a 4 year average, if that. He has lived in China, Dubai, Jordan and now Hong Kong. I have lived in Hawai’i, Togo and Malawi, and our paths have just rarely crossed!

It’s been so special to see our kids love each other and make instant bonds.

We finished our Hong Kong portion of the trip meeting up with my Taiwanese aunty, my mom’s longest friendship from Taiwan, Aunty Caroline. This is a trip for the books, and something we will always treasure!
