When we moved here 8 years ago, after the twins were born, Kossi and I would often find ourselves with tears in our eyes trying to take care of two newborn babies in a new country with little support. It was so, so, hard. We felt so isolated and alone, just trying to survive. I remember one day through teary eyes telling Kossi “I know God has great plans for us, we just have to be faithful in each season”. And that’s what we have done.

Today we celebrated the launch of the family empowerment program through @familyhopeinternational in Malawi. The way God strings things together is simply beautiful, a tapestry being woven every step of the way. Some of the original Brothers in Arms boys served by preparing the bags of food to distribute. To know that 8 years ago they were on the street begging, stealing and causing trouble, to now serving and giving back to those in need, warmed my heart. How powerful God is, and how no life is too far gone.

How beautiful is the tapestry maker, who weaves all the details together. We never could have imagine that 8 years ago, we would be standing here. How God has woven the lives of my parents, their upbringing at @lakecitycommunitychurch the faithfulness of @gcdenver in building Brothers in Arms, and so many of you who have supported us, and these ministries along the way.

Families will be relieved of hunger and empowered with business skills that will last them a life time. ✨
